United Way of Central AL
Our primary vehicle for giving back to the community is through our longstanding partnership with the United Way of Central Alabama (UWCA). Drummond Company has proudly supported the UWCA since the 1970s. Each year, Drummond Company, family, and employees contribute through a company-wide workplace giving campaign.
In addition to financial contributions, we actively engage in volunteer efforts through United Way Hands On—the volunteer arm of UWCA. Over the years, Drummond employees have donated their time and energy to a wide range of UWCA partner organizations and programs, including Meals on Wheels, the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama, The Arc of Walker County, The Arc of Jefferson County, Girls Inc., the YWCA, The Beacon House, the Salvation Army, and United Ability, among others.
