Drummond Company, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Augusto Jimenez as Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Jimenez will be reporting directly to Mr. Garry N. Drummond, CEO and Chairman.
Mr. Jimenez served as President of Drummond Ltd. from 1990 until 2012, during which time he was instrumental in developing the company from a startup operation in Colombia to the second largest coal mining company in the country.
Mr. Jimenez had been serving as a consultant to the company and member to the board of directors, where he provided guidance as we continue to grow and develop our various operations in Colombia.
Augusto Jimenez has a Juris Doctor from the Universidad Externado de Colombia and an LL.M from Harvard Law School. He currently serves as partner at Augusto Jimenez Consultores SAS.
